Having been involved with Autodesk software since AutoCAD 2.6, Rick Feineis has over 33 years of experience training designers on the use of CAD and BIM software.
As an Autodesk Certified Revit Instructor (ACI), CompTIA Certified Technical Trainer (CTT+), Autodesk Authorized Instructor (AAI) and Autodesk Certified Examiner (ACE), Rick has personally trained over 10,000 people on the use of CAD and BIM in the architecture, engineering, construction, and manufacturing markets.
In addition to assisting customers in implementing Autodesk AEC platform products, he has also consulted globally with Autodesk and was a co-author of the AutoCAD Certified Associate and AutoCAD Certified Professional examinations. He has written numerous production and workflow-related white papers for the AEC industry.
Rick is only 1 of 10 out of over 8,500 Autodesk Certified Instructors to have received the coveted Autodesk Certified Instructor PLATINUM award.
Rick is the owner of CAD Training Online, one of a handful of Autodesk Authorized Training Centers that are authorized by Autodesk to provide instructor-led training via the internet. Rick is actively involved in a broad range of activities with clients providing training, curriculum development, production, consulting, implementation, customization, management and strategic planning services, sales support, seminar presentations, account visits, user group presentations, product testing, and miscellaneous technical services as required.
Earners of the Autodesk Certified Instructor – Platinum credentials have instructional design and delivery skills, as well as the requisite knowledge of specific Autodesk applications required for course delivery in an instructional setting and have maintained their credentials for at least nine years.
Earners of the Autodesk Certified Instructor – Gold credentials have instructional design and delivery skills, as well as the requisite knowledge of specific Autodesk applications required for course delivery in an instructional setting and have maintained their credentials for at least six years.
The Revit Architecture Certified Professional badge validates professional users’ advanced knowledge of the tools, features, and common tasks of Revit Architecture. Earners of this designation have demonstrated advanced knowledge of modeling, documentation, elements, and more using Revit Architecture.
The Autodesk Certified Professional: AutoCAD for Design and Drafting badge validates an industry professional’s advanced skills and ability to solve complex challenges in Autodesk® AutoCAD®. Earners of this badge have demonstrated knowledge of drawing and organizing objects, advanced editing functions, managing layouts and output formats, and more. Certification at this level demonstrates a comprehensive skill set that helps individuals stand out in a competitive professional environment.
Earners of the CompTIA CTT+ Classroom Trainer certification have the necessary skills and knowledge to prepare, present, facilitate and evaluate a training session. These instructors have demonstrated the ability to plan engaging classroom lectures, practice tasks and exams, and they are knowledgeable and effective communicators.
