DESCRIPTION

Learn about building information modeling and the tools for parametric Revit MEP PLUMBING systems design and documentation using Autodesk Revit MEP PLUMBING.

OBJECTIVES

After completing this course, you will be able to: describe the benefits of BIM, use the fundamental features of Revit MEP PLUMBING, set up, import, and link projects, use the parametric 3D design tools to design and analyze plumbing systems, create detailing and drafting views, collaborate with architects and engineers on projects, annotate and create project schedules and create construction documentation.

The Revit MEP training is intended to introduce students to the software’s user interface and the basic piping/plumbing components that make the Autodesk Revit software a powerful and flexible engineering modeling tool.

The training will also familiarize students with the tools necessary to create, document, and print the parametric model. The examples and practices are designed to take the students through the basics of a full MEP project from linking in an architectural model to construction documents.
