Introduction to Civil 3D 2010 Survey - Field to Finish

Description:

AutoCAD Civil 3D 2010 Survey Introduction - Field to Finish has been developed for surveyors and survey technicians that do not necessarily need all of the functionality that is covered in the AutoCAD Civil 3D Introduction training.

Objective:

This training equips the surveyor with the basic knowledge needed to use Civil 3D efficiently in a typical daily workflow. Students will learn how to import the converted field equipment survey data into a standardized environment in Civil 3D, and use the automation tools to create an Existing Condition Plan. The training guide also covers data collection, least square analysis, and traverses. Other topics that help in increasing efficiency include styles, proper AutoCAD drafting techniques, methodology needed to create linework effectively for variables used in defining symbology, and surfaces. Categorizing points and importing imagery on State Plane Coordinate Systems from Google Earth are also addressed.

prerequisites:

A working knowledge of the following: AutoCAD and its functions and knowledge of design and drafting concepts dealing with land development topics and experience with Microsoft Windows.
